Customer Service Manager – Customs Forwarding & NVOCC

  • To provide leadership and direction to the freight / forwarding department in areas of responsibility including administration, meeting KPIs and cost effectiveness.
  • Reviewing procedure and staff development to optimize effectiveness in the organization.
  • Cooperate in a cross-functional manner as a change agent with all departments within the Company.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Candidates must possess at least a Degree qualification.
  • At least 5 years working experience in freight, forwarding or customer services filed or holding a managerial position in any industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of domestic and international logistics, documentation processes and procedure, transport, customs, or trade department/function will be an added advantage.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
  • Able to work independently with enthusiastic personality and in a fast paced environment.
  • Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Work, Power Point and etc.
  • Data analysis, objective-thinking, judgment and leadership skills.
