Five Malaysian universities listed among the world’s top 300 best universities.

Reported in The New Straits Times and The Star, five Malaysian universities has made the top 1% of universities worldwide in the world ranking list for the year 2017/2018 by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). The listed universities are University Malaya (114^th), Universiti Putra Malaysia (229^th). Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (230^th), University Teknologi Malaysia (253^th) and Universiti Sains Malaysia (264^th).

“The Ministry of Higher Education is confident that the strategic plans outlined in the Malaysia Education Blueprint 2015-2025 will allow our universities to be among the world’s best 100 universities earlier than expected,” said the Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh.
